| DESCRIPTION
The selected LCSW will be responsible for: * Utilizing principles, techniques and practices in a wide range of behavioral, adult, and group dynamics. * Utilizing intervention techniques, providing counseling and referral as necessary for various psychosocial issues. * Participating in departmental planning and implementation services to include treatment team meetings on all matters concerning the patient. * Maintaining prefessional and confidential records. QUALIFICATIONS: * Master?s degree in Social Work (M.S.W.) accredited by the Counsel of Social Work Education. * Full and unrestricted Mississippi state licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW). * Minimum of one year post licensure of social work experience in a mental health environment and/or medical setting including individual and group therapy. * Must hold a current and valid BLS certification. * Experience providing therapy to individuals with PTSD, substance abuse, as well as working with veterans strongly preferred.
